I am going to start trading this summer. Is it too unrealistic to ask for a 1-2 % profit ratio a day? I am with an online brokerage account and the comission fees are a dollar minimum per trade with a penny per share. Transaction costs are basically zero and i wont be using options or trading with margin(unless shorting) so the interest rates wont account for fees either. Are my expectations too high? Mind you im not expecting to profit 2 percent every single day but at least profit more than lose on a 3 times a week basis.

For foreign exchange trading a fully funded thinkorswim margin account needs to be opened first. Once opened you can transfer a starting balance of $500 to the full amount of your margin account to your thinkorswimfx trading account.
What would be a fully funded margin account? I’m new to this as you may have guessed

I have a margin-enabled trading account with fidelity. WIth each trade, I have the choice to purchase with cash, or margin. I made three cash trades a few days ago. It appears that since, Fidelity has “sold” each one and converted each position to margin. What the heck? Is this typical?
I called fidelity, but I still don’t understand at all. They said all positions in a margin account are automatically converted to margin. There is an option when you purchase to buy with “cash” or “margin,” but apparently this option is meaningless. There seems to be no way to hold a cash position in this margin account, if I understand, which is somewhat doubtful.

I HATE the T+3 settlement rule, and have lost LOTS of money because of it. When looking for a way around it, other then trading on margin, some guy on a forum suggested having multiple cash accounts to avoid getting profiled as a PDT and being able to trade everyday since you could have an account for every day of waiting for the 3 business days to finish for another. Not being able to day trade without margin is a pain the the butt and this seems like the only solution I can think of. So will Zecco allow this, or do I have to make three accounts with different online brokers?
